Welcome to our new websiteAlan Thompson
Welcome to our brand, spanking new website! We decide to upgrade and improve as time and tide waits for no man. This splendid new website and online shop is accessible on mobile phones and tablets as well as your laptops and desktop computer. Our new and improved site is hopefully easier to use (for both you and us!) but we’re still available on the telephone (01289 382362 or +441289 382362 if you’re calling from overseas) and we even accept snail mail too! We love to hear from you so please do get in touch!
The new start is good timing as the bees are starting their new season around about now too. We’re moving hives from their winter sites to fields of oil seed rape and beans on low ground. The rape seed is a great boost for the bees at this time of the year and thanks to good husbandry and good fortune the bees are mostly quite strong and ready to fly after a reasonably mild winter here in the borderlands between England and Scotland.
Our visitor centre is fully open now for the summer season with our Cafe Bus serving nice cups of tea alongside some delicious honey cakes and treats. It’s a great place for a cuppa when the sun is out and a quirky retreat when it’s not!
Lipbalm sales are really taking off now thanks to a wonderful customer (or two!) in Holland and Belgium. You can find our Honey & Beeswax Lip Balm jars in Dille & Kamille, a truly lovely chain of shops.
While our Beeswax Furniture Polish is now being sold by a great family company called Lakeland. You may have seen their stores in major cities worldwide or have received their catalogue through the mail. I’s a real pleasure to be able to count such a nice firm as a customer. Any new friends such as this are always greatly received! Please send us your tips or tell your friends in high places!
We have more exciting news in the works but we’ll keep that for next time…
Thank you for your support and for visiting our website, we hope you will visit us in person and continue to buy our products so that we can keep doing what we do.
